Choose what stays visible

Hold Command and drag everyday icons to the Visible side of the divider. Move occasional icons into Hidden.

Collapse the clutter

Click the chevron to tuck the Hidden zone away. Click again whenever you need those icons back.

You arrange icons manually, and Menu Icon Hider uses native status-item layout behavior to conceal the Hidden zone. Notched displays, newly added icons, and future macOS changes can affect how much room is available.
