Before contacting support

Include these details so Joletory can understand the issue:

  • Your iPhone model
  • Your iOS version
  • Your Scrolloom version
  • Whether you used Scroll Capture or existing screenshots
  • A short description of what happened and what you expected

Protect private content. Please do not send screenshots or screen recordings containing private information unless you intentionally choose to share them. Remove or obscure sensitive content before attaching an image.

Using Scroll Capture

  1. Open the content near the top of the page or conversation.
  2. Open Scrolloom and start Scroll Capture.
  3. Wait for Apple's three-second broadcast countdown.
  4. Scroll downward slowly and steadily in portrait orientation.
  5. Stop the capture using the red recording indicator or Control Center.
  6. Return to Scrolloom to process and preview the long image.

If capture-ready notifications are enabled, Scrolloom may show a notification after recording stops. Tap Open Scrolloom to return to the app. You can always return manually.

Using existing screenshots

  1. Open Scrolloom.
  2. Choose existing screenshots.
  3. Select between 2 and 10 screenshots in top-to-bottom order.
  4. Review the detected joins.
  5. Correct or stack uncertain joins if Scrolloom asks.
  6. Preview, save, or share the completed image.

Frequently asked questions

Does Scrolloom upload my recordings or screenshots?
No. Scrolloom processes screen content on your iPhone. It does not upload recordings, screenshots, or completed images to Joletory, and Joletory does not operate a backend for processing screen content.
Does Scrolloom record microphone audio?
No. The microphone control is disabled for Scroll Capture, and the Scrolloom broadcast extension accepts video frames only.
Why is protected content hidden in my capture?
iOS and the source application can block screen recording for protected, private, or digital-rights-managed content. Scrolloom cannot override those protections, so blocked areas may appear blank or may not be captured.
Why doesn't Scrolloom reopen automatically?
iOS does not allow a broadcast extension to bring its host app to the foreground automatically. After stopping the broadcast, return to Scrolloom manually or tap its capture-stopped notification if you enabled notifications.
Can Scrolloom automatically scroll another app?
No. Scrolloom does not control or scroll another application. You remain in control and scroll the content yourself while Apple's screen broadcast is active.
What kind of scrolling works best?
Use portrait orientation and make one slow, steady downward scroll. Avoid reversing direction, rapid flicks, large jumps, video, and heavy animation. Repeating sticky elements can make a join less certain; review any join Scrolloom flags.
How do I save the finished image?
Tap Save and allow add-only Photos access when iOS asks. You can also tap Share to use Apple's system share sheet without granting Photos access.
How do I remove locally stored data?
Choose Start Over to remove the current session's working files. Scrolloom cleans abandoned captures and imported working files after approximately 24 hours. Delete the app to remove its app-container data. Images already saved to Photos or shared elsewhere must be deleted from those locations separately.
How do I contact support?
Email support@joletory.com with “Scrolloom” in the subject. Include the device, software, workflow, and problem details listed above, but do not attach private screen content unless you intentionally choose to share it.
